Moved

I’ve moved last weekend, not to far (only 800 meters) but to a brand new house. My new address is hollebekestraat 2 in Wijtschate. I’ll try to update the rest or the site and my cv. Only problem is I don’t have any internet yet, or electricity, or warm water, or heating. The only “internet” connection I have is my smartphone. And for anyone who knows the westhoek, that’s like surfing pre broadband speeds, just think of a old isdn telephone modem.
Happily the electricity will be connected next Wednesday with the warm water and heating. For the proper internet connection i’ll have to wait till the end of the month.

Back from the dead

I’m back!!

Well lately I haven’t posted anything, mostly because I’ve found a job. I’m no longer a full-time student. So my blog/CV/website lost his primary function, to help me conker a job. I’m currently working at the Jan Yperman Hospital in Ypres, where I’m responsible (with a team of 6)  for everything concerning IT in the Hospital. I’ve already got a couple of projects like Aeroscout and Imprivata.

Now offcourse I don’t really need my website anymore. Well not for jobhunting, but it can still have some functionality. First, I consider myself quite good at understanding the English language, but speaking and especially writing it is a whole different thing. So consider this for educational purpose. Now that I’m on the subject of education, I’m hoping to post some educational projects on this blog, whenever I’ve got the time and inspiration. Especially security related…

So I leave you with this note, I’M ALIVE

Twikini

twikini_theme_htcblack.png A couple of months ago I bought a HTC Touch Diamond. (The so called iPhone Killer). Great phone and because it runs on Windows Mobile there are a lot of great apps available for it. One of these apps is a Twitter Client called Twikini.

Most Twitter clients on my phone can’t show me the whole message. In worst case they can’t even present it in a nice looking interface. This app does both and comes with a cool bird sound to notify you when there’s a new twit.

It’s baked with twitpic integration which does not crash on my 3.2 Megapixel pictures like other clients like tiny twit. Comes with URL shortening software and if you listen to your music on your cell phone you can post them directly to twitter without any fuzz.

You can download it from http://www.trinketsoftware.com/Twikini.
